Eching and Hartenholm, February 2024 — At LogiMAT 2024, which takes place from March 19 to 21, Logopak Systeme GmbH & Co. KG and Novexx Solutions GmbH (hall 2, booth C22) will be presenting joint labeling solutions and a complementary product portfolio for the first time – and not just for the logistics industry.
The best of the Possehl Identification Solutions (PID) world
The companies, which both belong to the Possehl Identification Solutions (PID) division of the Lübeck-based Possehl Group, show that users have the best of PID at their disposal in terms of both hardware and software. Customers benefit from a large product portfolio and optimal solutions for their specific marking tasks can be composed or developed. An integrated complete solution demonstrates how various systems in the field of box labeling can be configured for a wide range of customer requirements – automated, sustainable and powerful.
PID 3SIXTY: manufacturer-independent software platform of the PID network partners
Another highlight at the trade fair is the presentation of the jointly developed innovative software platform PID 3SIXTY. All devices on the booth are controlled and connected via the software.
Visitors can experience the software live and see the seamless data exchange within the software platform and with higher-level OT and IT systems. This makes complex marking and identification processes even more securely controllable.
PID 3SIXTY consists of two products – manage.ID and monitor.ID – and is able to manage and control all marking processes by not only sending the correct data to the identification hardware, but also analyzing the data from the devices. This makes the management of all printing processes very simple and maximizes the efficiency of the identification hardware. A special feature is that manage.ID is able to manage the identification hardware independently of the device and manufacturer. The companies are so convinced by this innovative solution that it has been submitted for the “Best Product LogiMAT 2024” competition.
Sustainable labeling without compressed air and waste
The Logomatic 850 eP3 pallet labeling system will be the focus of Logopak Systeme’s trade fair appearance as well. The company is also applying with this product for the “Best Product LogiMAT 2024” competition. Without any pneumatics when applying labels, this sustainable labeling system saves one of the most expensive forms of industrial energy and also supports the implementation of energy management systems in accordance with ISO 50001:2018. In addition to pre-cut labels, the Logomatic 850 eP3 automatic labeling system can also be operated with linerless labels, which do not produce any liner waste. It could hardly be “greener”: in linerless operation, the 850 eP3 series labeling systems reduce the CO2 footprint in production, logistics and disposal, while also supporting companies’ efforts as part of the European Green Deal.
Latest generation of printing technology
NOVEXX Solutions will be presenting its latest generation of printing technology at the trade fair. The new XDM/XPM 94x Print Modules for integrators complete the product portfolio of the new generation of printing systems, which includes also the XLP 60x Label Printers and the XPA 93x Print & Apply Systems. This not only provides a state-of-the-art product portfolio, but also means that the latest digital requirements can be met, and the devices are ready for the future. All systems can be accessed remotely via a web interface, offer a contribution to sustainability with the ribbon save function and promise maximum user-friendliness. The industrial label printers are available with various options, also including the LTMA air-free applicator.
Cooperation with eurapack GmbH
The packaging specialist eurapack GmbH, a cooperation partner of Logopak Systeme and NOVEXX Solutions, will be present at the joint booth as well. They exhibit a solution how pallets can be labeled and secured with a load securing cord in a quick, timesaving and environmentally friendly way in just one single step. The system, which consists of a strap binder and a cord labeling device, is particularly suitable for stackable containers on pallets. The securing cord is made of recycled material and is therefore particularly sustainable. The system in combination with the linerless labels is known for maximum availability and low operating costs.
