THE CARTON LABEL
- As part of the supply chain, the carton label or shipping label contains important data - both in clear text and in the form of coded data
- In contrast to the pallet label, there is no prescribed layout
- Nevertheless, data from the carton label is also found on the pallet label
- The interaction between carton and pallet labels ensures a smooth supply chain flow
- The applied labels must therefore contain highly legible and scannable information - and therefore be printed in excellent quality (usually thermal transfer printing in combination with the right label material and the fitting thermal transfer ribbon)

The required print data can be sent fully automatically to the print and apply system via the PID 3SIXTY Data Management Software. PID 3SIXTY connects, manages and controls all labeling operations in the production process in one central location - for high transparency and accuracy across the various process steps.
manage.ID transmits to the print and apply system what needs to be printed and ensures the correctness of the data to be printed.
