Tamper evidence plays a special role in the labeling industry and describes a possible functionality of labels. Labels can warn against counterfeiting in a variety of ways. Tamper-evident seals and labels provide visible, non-removable indications and thus protect against warranty fraud, theft of assets as well as alterations, misuse and misappropriation of products.
